CLEVER WAY TO COOK A FRIED EGG IN 40 SECONDS WITHOUT FRYING - AND IT TASTES ‘DELICIOUS'

Claire uses her microwave to cook the egg. Not only does this speed up the cooking process but it also ensures it's done in the healthiest way possible.

Claire starts by adding a teaspoon of vegetable oil to a paper plate and cracks an egg right on top of that before covering it with another paper plate.

She said: "Then we're going to microwave it for 40 seconds." Showing the "big reveal" once the time was up, the egg was perfectly cooked.

Claire then added some salt and pepper before giving it a taste. She said: "That's good. That's really good. So easy and no clean up. Absolutely delicious."

Taking to the comments section, fellow TikTok users were impressed by this way of cooking a fried egg.

To get the best results from this cooking tip, it's worth leaving the eggs out of the fridge for at least an hour before as they cook better when at room temperature.

This is because starting with a cold egg means it's more likely to overcook in the yolk area while trying to get the white to set.
